Crazy Horse Resources is committed to achieving the best possible balance between protection of the environment and economic development in-line with the principles of sustainable development.
To fulfill this commitment we will:
- Comply with and, where possible, exceed requirements of the applicable environmental laws, regulations and standards
- Develop, implement and maintain management systems that are consistent with internationally recognized standards
- Integrate environmental management processes into all aspects of our activities
- Identify, assess and manage potential environmental risks and impacts of our activities
- Work with local communities and government to minimize environmental risks and impacts, and develop opportunities for community involvement in environmental programs
- Ensure continuous improvement in our environmental performance, through monitoring, inspections and audits, to minimize and prevent negative impacts
- Promote environmental awareness amongst our personnel to ensure they are aware of their roles and responsibilities in environmental management
- Develop our personnel by providing the necessary training and resources to meet our environmental commitments
- Promote our environmental management progress and performance through liaison and reporting to government and local communities
